Our Objective
To assure that you acquire proficiency in the People Plus Purpose method of training and coaching sufficient to successfully launch or significantly advance your assessment-guided coaching career. This certification training will provide all the mindsets, insights, tools, and techniques you need to be successful. We will provide options for advanced mentoring, additional support, and fine-tuning of skill sets as needed and desired moving forward.

Details of Our Coach Certification Process

  • The certification training is a focused 3-month program (12 weeks). It will culminate in a certificate of coaching excellence from People Plus Purpose with a badge for your website along with a written and video testimonial endorsement.
  • You will get to work one-on-one or in a small group with Dr. Norton , assisted by his team, in this training. You will not only receive his knowledge, content, and coaching framework; but be taught how to integrate it into your work for higher-level results.
  • You will receive training content each week on specific coaching skill-development topics along with assignments to complete.
  • You will have 12 weekly 50-minute coaching calls where we will go over your homework assignments, answer your questions, address any concerns, and brainstorm ideas for your business success.
  • You will have access to support in between coaching calls to aid progress and maintain positive momentum.
  • You will be asked to video record a few of your own client coaching calls (with internal-use permission of course) and/or participate in a few recorded simulations with our People Plus Purpose team. You will face some common scenarios requiring you to demonstrate your acquired knowledge and implement particular skill sets as you coach through the lens of the People Plus Purpose assessments so we can verify proficiency for your certification.
  • We will help you build a map…a plan and a pathway for you to integrate the assessments and each training/coaching element into your developing vision for your coaching business.
  • You will acquire access to utilize copyrighted People Plus Purpose content (training modules, assessment summaries and guides, personal and interpersonal growth materials, courses, leader/team implementation strategies, one-page cheat sheets, etc.) under the People Plus Purpose brand name to assist you in your coaching business to utilize as part of your active certification.
  • You will receive significantly discounted affiliate pricing on all People Plus Purpose assessments to use to guide your coaching as well as to sell to your clients at retail prices as an additional profit center.
  • You will have access to a monthly coaches-only group call guided by Dr. Norton and the People Plus Purpose team to answer any questions and learn business-building and advanced coaching approaches. We will periodically bring special guest contributors to these monthly calls with various areas of relevant and helpful expertise to expand your success.
  • You will be invited into a growing community of People Plus Purpose coaches and assessment users for support, brainstorming of ideas, marketing and growth strategies, and creative implementation approaches.

  • 35 years of entrepreneurial business success in private practice patient care honing the skills of connection, communication, collaboration, outreach/marketing, influence, and getting results.
  • 15 years of developing and delivering leadership and workplace culture training and coaching through People Plus Purpose and his previous coaching company. We have guided countless numbers of business owners and their teams across a wide range of industries and demographics to achieve significant breakthroughs in the people and visionary purpose aspects of their businesses.
  • Completed certification coursework and training in conducting, debriefing, and applying human assessments; coupled with 25 years of practical application experience in all of his businesses.
  • Developed nine of his own proprietary assessments, including his core-four (emotional agility, action approach, cognitive styles, and inspiration sources). Thousands of these assessments have now been purchased by clients and utilized to guide hiring and personalized leader/team development coaching.
